Earlier this year, Jonathan Whitlock saw high demand for his artwork at the United Disabilities Service’s annual “Celebrating the Artist Within” Art Gala. Â
Jonathan sold a number of paintings, including his much admired “Peggy Cove’s Lighthouse,” and his entire “Longwood Gardens” series. He also sold out of his “Finding Peace” neckties, and received a commission to paint the Lancaster Central Market!
In exchange for receiving 100% of the profits at the show, each of the five artists donated one piece of art for the live auction part of the UDS fundraiser. Jonathan’s “Finding Peace” original painting sold for $1100!
A video highlighting five artists, including Jonathan, premiered at the Gala as well.Â
