Carly Long

Carly Long is a budding photo artist with a growing portfolio. Her photos feature the beauty of nature scenes and simple scenes of everyday life. She discovered her passion for photography because she loves capturing meaningful moments in the world around her.

Carly is in her early thirties and has become adept at living with Cerebral Palsy. She uses a wheelchair to get around. And her camera is mounted to the wheelchair so that she can take the right photograph at any moment when the time and setting is right.

Carly attended Penn Manor High School in the Lancaster PA and studied in the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center for photography.

Living with Cerebral Palsy has given Carly a unique perspective behind the lens — one that celebrates resilience, creativity, and the art of seeing the world differently.

She finds peace and inspiration in nature, where photography allows her to slow down and connect with her surroundings. Whether it’s the colors of a sunset, the quiet beauty of a forest, or the small details most people overlook, she strives to share the sense of calm, joy, and appreciation for life that she finds through her photography.
