April Vassilos

Ms. Vassilos has a BA in Psychology from Penn State University. She has held various positions in Home and Community Based Services at United Disabilities Services over the last 12 years, including a Service Coordinator, Program Mentor, and Service Coordinator Supervisor. Currently, April coordinates services, develops training materials, and facilitates monitoring and assessment activities for a caseload of adults with Autism while also supervising a small team in the Adult Autism Waiver. April was previously a rehabilitation specialist assisting individuals in a mental health group home with job searching, secondary education applications, and independent living skills. She implemented therapeutic treatment and behavioral plans along with creative developmental activities to build social skills with children with Autism, ADHD, and behavioral issues. She is also very active in local human services volunteer work.
