Celebrate Abilities All Month

ASPIE has established a partnership in Lancaster – with St. James Episcopal Church and their Urban Well program.

St. James has a rich artistic heritage including tiffany-stained glass windows and beautiful tile work. Their Urban Well program is an ecumenical program focused on contemplative spirituality and practices, including meditation, yoga, and arts-based programs. They have an event, “Celebrating Abilities,” scheduled for July 19th at 3 PM, featuring performances by the Unsinkables (Schreiber Center’s musical group with disabilities) and musician Halley Elwell from Berkeley CA.

ASPIE will be their featured art show for the event, which will take place in the church’s narthex area, starting on July 19th and remaining in place for one month. The exhibition will include approximately 30 pieces of art, including paintings, photography, and metal sculptures. Take at look at our video showing the St James art setup. We expect more than 1000 visitors who will see our ASPIE art.

The quality of the shadow box was impeccable. I loved it and was very disappointed that I could not order more as I wanted 2 more just slightly different.

I mounted it with a light yellow linen mat and gray wood frame. It is hanging in my office and my many faculty, staff and students who come each day never fail to comment on its originality, creativity and just sheer artistic presence. I love it.

Exceeded expectations.
